Green bin
Update.
March 3rd 2011
some bin greens on the New Wortley estate were not emptied
until the 1st March....making the total number of 8 weeks for some residents.
February 9th 2011
The Green recycle bin collection was missed again in parts of New Wortley on the 1st February 2011.
Residents telephoning to report the missed collection are reporting being put on hold in excess of 20mins.
The intial response was that the bins would be emptied within 48hrs...however as of today the green bins have still not been emptied.
This could hamper recycling as more residents revert to just using their black bins.
Green recycle bins are only emptied only every 4 weeks.
